U Boot Plastic Structural box (Sbox ) is the formwork products made of recycled polypropylene and placed in the reinforced concrete slab. These products are also know with the name Self-supporting core mold. Use Plastic Structural box (Sbox ) to form the large span slab with the flat bottom surface without beams. With the use of Plastic Structural box (Sbox ), the concrete volume of the slab will be significantly reduced and consequently the load on the foundation will be decreased respectively.
The installation of Plastic Structural box (Sbox ) is simple and quick in association with the construction of flat formwork in a simple manner will help the slab construction quicker than those of the bidirectional beams.
It is used in all applications that required a plate structural solution, along with concrete-saving and therefore weight-savings.In tower buildings, weight-saving at every floor reduces load on foundations. The fact of avoiding beams being out of the slab thickness, enables the reduction of height for each floor. Therefore, a higher number of floors can be built. The system also allows a more irregular of pillars, since beams are not necessary.
